SEPTEMBER HHS DANCE NEWS

1. PROFESSIONAL DANCE PHOTOSHOOTS
The Dance Academy will have professional headshots, department promotional photos, and photos for our Winter dance concert taken this month.

2. DANCE BOOSTER AND WINTER PRODUCTION MEETING
We will have a parent meeting this month. On the agenda: Booster and Winter Production

​3. DANCE PRODUCTION FEE
The Winter Production fee due 9/2. Please turn those in!

4. WHAT WE ARE WORKING ON
Unit 1 in Ballet is now completed and unit testing is complete.
We are now working on conditioning and flexibility, technique and choreography for the show. We will begin a new Anatomy unit after Fall break.
Weekly Participation grades are input weekly. Students should make sure that they are coming to class prepared, dressing out within 5 minutes and quiet and focused in class. The nature of dance requires extreme discipline, and we want the students to be as excellent and successful as I know that they can be.
